Terms & Conditions

LS17 Ltd trading as The Fitness Trader and its operation, sales and practices are governed by English Law.

Payment is normally taken in full when placing your order. This can be in the form of a credit/ debit/charge card, cheque or cash.

All distance orders will be confirmed in writing, either by email or by post.

All prices include VAT at standard UK rates and also include delivery to a UK mainland address. Any address outside of the UK mainland will be quoted on an individual basis.

Standard delivery:
• Monday to Friday during working hours.
• Within 3 - 5 working days from placing the order, if we take longer than 28 days we will issue you with a full refund if required.
• Any delivery times quoted by our sales team are estimates for guidance only, unless otherwise agreed.

We are unable to pay compensation for deliveries not arriving when expected unless a surcharge has been made for a guaranteed delivery date or time. In this instance the surcharge will be credited in full.

Unfortunately, if an order is cancelled a charge may be made for carriage, only if we have incurred any costs.

All equipment carries a minimum of a 12 month manufacturers warranty. Please ask for further information related to warranties.

None of the above affects your statutory rights or your manufacturers warranty.

We strongly advise customers, where appropriate, to seek medical advice prior to purchasing any products. It is entirely the responsibility of the customer to check and be aware of their own medical condition before using or purchasing any product(s). None of our advisors are medically qualified.

Order Cancellations
Under the Distance Selling Regulations you have a right to cancel your order (prior to shipment) for any item purchased on this website, for a full refund. Within 7 days of receipt you may return the goods, in the condition that they arrived, for a refund less costs associated with delivery. Simply advise us in writing via email, fax or post.

LS17 Ltd strictly abides by the distance selling regulations laid down by The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000. A summary of which can be found at the DTI's web site www.dti.gov.uk

The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 (SI 2000 No. 2334) implement Directive 97/7/EC of 20 May 1997 on the protection of consumers in respect of distance contracts (known as the Distance Selling Directive) can be found in full on the HMG's Stationery Office website www.hmso.gov.uk

Faulty Goods
If an item arrives faulty, simply advise us as soon as possible and we will replace the item.

The above applies if the item becomes faulty during the warranty period.

We collect information about you to process your order and for our own marketing purposes to advise you of any beneficial offers and promotions. We will not under any circumstances pass on your information to a third party.

The information we will collect about you includes:

• delivery address (if required)
• phone number(s)
• e-mail address
• credit/debit card details

The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.

The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy.

We may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our web site. This can include using a "cookie" which would be stored on your browser. You can usually modify your browser to prevent this happening. The information collected in this way can be used to identify you unless you modify your browser settings.

Complaints Procedure

Complaints and queries can be made via telephone, email or letter. If a complaint is made by telephone, we do recommend that it is followed up in writing. This is not compulsory and will not affect the way in which we handle your complaint.

All complaints will receive our immediate attention. We will endeavour to respond with an acknowledgment of receipt within 3 - 5 days. We will also include an action plan and will aim to resolve any query or complaint to your satisfaction within 10 days. If the resolution of your complaint involves a new piece of equipment being dispatched we will advise you of an approximate dispatch and delivery date.

During the process we will endeavour to keep you informed as to the progress of the complaint. This will be carried out by e-mail, letter, phone or fax.

All complaints are totally confidential.
